We are pleased to share that, in fact, one of Sydney’s coolest live music venues, just got 28% cooler.

We have replaced our old venue chiller with a much more energy efficient and environmentally friendly chiller. With 28% more capacity, those hot Summer Nights (music credit Grease 1978) the Hordern Pavilion just got a little bit cooler. Playbill Venues was supported by the NSW Government through Sound NSW to make this improvement to our iconic 101 year old live entertainment venue. In our 100th anniversary year we developed a sustainability strategy for the Hordern Pavilion to progressively provide greener and cleaner music. Upgrading our infrastructure to greener solutions is a key step in that journey.
