Unfortunately, the promoter iME Entertainment, wishes to advise that the 2026 “STRENGTH” Japanese Anime Concert in Sydney scheduled for Thursday 16 April at Horden Pavilion, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Leading the lineup is FLOW, one of Japan’s most iconic anime rock bands, best known for the explosive Naruto opening theme “GO!!!”. Renowned for their high-energy performances and uplifting sound, FLOW embodies themes of youth, friendship, and perseverance, and continues to perform globally at major anime and music festivals.
- Rica Matsumoto, the legendary singer behind “Mezase Pokémon Master” and the Japanese voice of Ash Ketchum (Satoshi), represents the heart and spirit of Pokémon. A symbol of growth, courage, and adventure, Matsumoto remains deeply loved across generations and continues to actively participate in global Pokémon events and concerts.
- From the Digimon franchise, Ayumi Miyazaki brings his powerful and emotionally charged vocals to the stage, best known for iconic tracks such as “Brave Heart” and “ZERO -The Beginning-”. His music is inseparable from Digimon’s evolution moments and continues to resonate strongly with fans worldwide.
- Shoko Nakagawa, performer of Gurren Lagann’s theme “Sorairo Days”, is a multi-talented artist known for her work as a singer, voice actress, host, and illustrator. With a strong presence across music, television, and social media, she remains a defining and influential figure in contemporary anime culture.
- Rounding out the lineup is Daisuke Hasegawa, whose intense and dramatic vocals power JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind opening theme “Traitor’s Requiem”. His work is widely recognised for its emotional depth and lasting impact within the anime music world.
